The RVR Awards, created to honor the life and legacy of the late Ambassador Ramon V. del Rosario, is an initiative jointly organized by PHINMA, JCI Manila, De La Salle University RVR College of Business, and AIM RVR Center. It aims to recognize individuals who exemplify corporate social responsibility, demonstrate a deep commitment to nation-building, and prioritize making lives better alongside their business achievements.

The Ramon V. del Rosario Award for nation building is a prestigious event held annually aiming to recognize men and men who have proven themselves worthy of honor and emulation, and have exhibited outstanding traits such as Entrepreneurial Spirit, National or Global Impact, Corporate Citizenship and Social Responsibility.

In his lifetime, Ambassador Ramon "Monching" V. del Rosario was such a cheerful and invigorating presence that it was easy to forget what daunting historic tasks he set himself. He sought to reinvigorate the young Filipino's sense of purpose, to restore the strength of our nation's fledgling enterprises during a period of uncertainty and to redirect the deteriorating moral compass our of society.

Ambassador Howard Q. Dee, a distinguished Filipino businessman, philanthropist, and former diplomat, is the esteemed recipient of the 2024 RVR Award for Nation Building. His life’s work has been a testament to his unwavering dedication to serving the Filipino people and promoting social justice, peace, and the rights of indigenous communities.
